What is Joomla? Joomla is a C[M]MS (content [multimedia] management system that is built for handling multimedia, multiple administrators, editors and managers. It is deeply layered in how content is presented to your customer, and who has the level of clearance to view, edit and manage said content. It is robust, powerful and expandable. Here is Joomla's official definition:

The difference between this and Wordpress is how much information can be stored and how limited one can manage the content. Joomla is the most powerful in management and most powerful in storage. But, this limitation comes with a price. It has a steeper learning curve and is is more time consuming to work with, but with its power and flexibility, it is perfect for the advanced user that wants to build something great!
